ScheduleShort version: Scheduleit stores only what's needed to run the service for you — your login, your connected TikTok tokens, and your posts and their metrics — kept securely on our server. We don't sell or share your personal data, and we run no advertising or tracking pixels.
1. Who We Are
Scheduleit ("we," "us," or "our") is a scheduling and analytics service for TikTok creators, accessible at scheduleit.site. It lets you connect your own TikTok account through TikTok's official API, publish your own content, and view your own post performance.

2. Information We Handle
Scheduleit handles only the information required to provide its core functionality:
- Your Scheduleit account: your email address and a securely hashed password, used only to sign you in. We never store your password in plain text.
- TikTok access & refresh tokens: when you connect a TikTok account, TikTok issues authorization tokens. These are stored securely on our server and used to publish and read metrics on your behalf. Your TikTok password is never sent to us — connecting happens on TikTok's own official login page.
- Account metadata: your TikTok display name, username and avatar, fetched from TikTok's API for display in your dashboard.
- Post data: the media you upload, captions, chosen privacy level, scheduling times and publish status — stored so you can schedule and track your content.
- Metrics: your posts' view, like, comment and share counts, retrieved from TikTok's Display API and stored so your analytics load instantly.
3. How Your Media Is Handled
To publish a photo post, TikTok requires the images at a public URL it can fetch. Scheduleit uploads your images to a temporary, private location only for that purpose and deletes them immediately after TikTok has pulled them. Videos are uploaded directly to TikTok. We do not keep a permanent copy of your media beyond what is needed to publish it.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your account, connected-account tokens, posts and metrics are stored in our service database on our server, accessible only to your account. Tokens are treated as secrets and are only ever transmitted to TikTok's API over encrypted HTTPS connections.
5. Third-Party Services We Use
Scheduleit communicates with the following external service on your behalf:
- TikTok API (open.tiktokapis.com): used to authorize your account, publish posts, and retrieve your account and post metrics. Your use of TikTok through Scheduleit is governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any AI content-generation services, Google Analytics, advertising networks, or third-party tracking of any kind.
6. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Your TikTok password — connecting happens on TikTok's own login page, never through us
- Advertising or behavioural tracking data
- Location data or precise device identifiers
- Any data from accounts you do not own and connect yourself
7. How We Protect Your Data
Connections to Scheduleit and to TikTok use encrypted HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted, hashed values (PBKDF2). Connected-account tokens are stored server-side and are only ever sent to TikTok's own API. We restrict access to the service's data to what is necessary to operate it.
8. Token Expiry and Refresh
Access tokens issued by TikTok expire after approximately 24 hours. Scheduleit automatically requests a new access token using your stored refresh token, in the background, without any action from you. If the refresh token itself expires (typically after 365 days), you'll be prompted to reconnect the account.
9. Data Deletion
You are in control of your data:
- Disconnect an account in the dashboard to delete that account's stored tokens from our server.
- Delete your Scheduleit account to remove your login, connected accounts, posts and stored metrics. Contact [email protected] to request full deletion.
- Revoke access from TikTok's side at any time: TikTok → Settings → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions, and remove Scheduleit.
10. Children's Privacy
Scheduleit is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you have concerns, contact [email protected].
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Scheduleit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
